Terms

Terms, in plain words

What you agree to when you install agentgov, run the check, switch GOV on or use Teams.

Last updated 26 October 2026

The short version. The check is free and provided as it is; GOV on is free too. It runs on your computer, on apps you are allowed to work on. What it finds is a reading of your code, not legal advice. Teams is rules plus watching, not a lock. The documents it writes are yours.

Who we are

agentgov is made and run by Innovate d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia. Reach us through the contact form.

The free check, as it is

The inventory, the checks, the live test, the registry view, the decision register, Teams, the report and the dashboard cost nothing. We may change, limit or stop any part of it, including the fair-use limits described in the docs. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

GOV on

The GOV tools (policies, the release gate, the fix plan, marking findings fixed or accepted, the documentation export) are free for everyone who signs in, with no card and no obligation, for every project they run through them. We may introduce a paid licence later: it would be announced on the pricing page and mailed to you before anything changes, and nothing is charged unless you choose to pay. The free check keeps working either way. Everything in .agentgov stays yours to keep, export or delete.

A code reading, not a legal opinion

Every finding, score, risk tier and document agentgov produces is a reading of your code by your own coding agent, with the file and the line to check. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It is not legal advice, not a compliance certificate and not a security audit. Take the AI Act tier and the documents to a lawyer; take the security findings to a person who can verify them. You decide what to do with them, and you are responsible for your product and your compliance.

Using it fairly

  • Run it on apps you own or are allowed to work on, and point live tests only at servers you are allowed to probe. Never at production, never at someone else's.
  • Do not use it to attack a system, to extract secrets, or to circumvent anyone's controls. The planted-instruction probe is for your own agents on your own computer.
  • Do not overload the service or try to get around the limits.
  • Share a report's link and code only with people who should see it; anyone with both can open it.

The app on your computer

The agentgov app you install reads your project folder read-only, keeps what it makes in .agentgov inside the project, starts your own code only after you say yes, and contacts only our server. You may install and use it free of charge on your own computers; you may not modify, redistribute or sell it without our written permission.

Teams

An organisation is created by a person who becomes its admin and is responsible for its rules, its invitations and its decisions. Members agree to have their requests and, when they say so or the rules require it, their watch records (the MCP servers configured on their computer, by name) shared with the organisation's admins. agentgov makes a member's agent follow the rules and ask before it starts; it does not and cannot prevent a person from using other software. An organisation's rules, requests and decisions are the organisation's; its admin may delete it, which removes them.

Report pages and documents

A shared report is yours; we host it at your request until you delete it. The documents the app writes into .agentgov/docs are yours, to change and publish as you like. Our know-how packs (the checks, the templates, the questions) remain ours; you may use them through the app and may not extract them to build a competing service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the service or from acting, or not acting, on what it reports: a finding you followed, a finding it missed, a document you filed, a release the gate passed or blocked. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

Slovenian law applies; the courts of Ljubljana have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection where you live. The documents the app produces for you are yours; the texts on this site may be quoted under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to agentgov.si.

Privacy

How we treat personal data is on the privacy page.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. Using the service after that means the new terms apply.
